What Percentage of Adsense Revenue Makes Up Your Online Income?
July 22, 2008 by Profitopia
Many online marketers not involved with Adsense often wonder how much of a percentage this income stream could earn them. Like everything else online, it depends on how hard you work at it.
For most of us using Adsense on our websites, it typically generates anywhere from 2% to 25% of all online revenue. If you rely solely on Adsense for your online income, then perhaps you need to diversify a little (since there are actually better, more profitable ways to make money online).
Some of my websites get clicks ranging from 5 cents to 75 cents, with up to 20 clicks per day. My higher paying websites with Adsense get clicks ranging from $1.00 to $3.00, it’s nice when folks click on the higher paying ones, because it really adds up over a month. This website averages approximately $0.75 per click, which I consider very good. As traffic on Profitopia increases, so does the clickthrough rates.
I plan on publishing images of my next paycheck from Google so you can see the kind of check you will receive. Unfortunately my payday from Google won’t be too high, but after all it only accounts for a small percentage of my overall online income. I refer to my checks from Google as automated cash, because I simply set and forget.

I love reading posts about bloggers that have several websites. Even if you are making a small amount on each one, the passive income is great and it builds up.
